*2020 IGBO DAY POSTPONED INDEFINITELY*
Hello Igbo Ottawa,
The ongoing global health pandemic and the grave uncertainties it has brought to our present and future activities including our scheduled 2020 Igbo Day event, has forced the planning committee of the 2020 Igbo Day, to recommend an indefinite postponement of this event.
After careful and exhaustive deliberation with the Igbo Executive Committee, I regrate to inform you on behalf of the president of Igbo association and the Chairman of the 2020 Igbo Day planning committee, that our scheduled 2020 Igbo Cultural Day has been postponed indefinitely. A new date for the event will be announced whenever it’s safe and predictable.
The planning committee will want to thank everyone for there support and hope that we will all pick up from where we have stopped.
